Meet Your Coach
This was me back in college, 6′ 3″ and 164 pounds. I have what you call an ectomorph body type – tall & skinny. It’s easy for us to lose weight (and muscle), but hard to gain it. Over the years I’ve put on a solid 30 pounds of muscle and helped other “hard gainers” do the same.
I am not your typical trainer, I have a degree in Industrial Engineering and worked four years in the oil & gas industry. While working as an engineer, I hated sitting at a desk all day and would frequently take walks to stretch and get some fresh air. I developed low back pain & wrist pain from the sedentary job. I felt like an old man and I was only in my late 20’s! Something needed to change, after getting laid off during the recession of 2015, I decided to make a career change.
My career in fitness began with working for a large corporate gym, where I
spent three years: two years as a trainer and one year as a fitness manager. I learned the ropes for being a successful trainer, but saw first hand the greed and corruption of the corporate world and decided to quit and start my own business – Tree of Life Fitness. My clients gladly followed me and my business slowly began to grow.
Everyday I have the unique privilege to change people’s lives. I have worked with all kinds of clients from teenagers to seniors, from an ultramarathon runner to a Broncos cheerleader. Whatever your fitness goals are: weight loss, training for a sport or race, adding some strength or size, or just being able to move better, I am confident I can help you achieve your goals. I look forward to working with you!
